Trip to Love Valley by School of Foreign Languages Preparatory Class Students
Students from Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University School of Foreign Languages visited the Love Valley region within the scope of the Photography & Storytelling and Travel & Tourism Club Activities courses, accompanied by Lecturer Olcay Uzun and Lecturer Özge Sırma.
During this technical trip, organized in connection with the course content, students had the opportunity to gain theoretical and practical knowledge about the geographical formations of this unique valley, which contains the most magnificent examples of Cappadocia’s iconic fairy chimneys, as well as its role in regional tourism. The natural beauty of the area provided rich material for storytelling and artistic photography practices.
The visit not only involved nature observation but also offered students an important opportunity to evaluate the tourism potential of the Cappadocia region and to develop their artistic skills by capturing unique photographs. Immersed in nature, students both observed the geological structure of the region and reinforced their knowledge by taking on-site photographs to capture the best views.
At the end of the activity, students expressed: “Experiencing such an atmosphere was extremely valuable for us. Being among these unique natural formations and learning the story of Love Valley — one of the most important tourist attractions of Cappadocia — on-site was truly fascinating. It also became an unforgettable memory for us.”
The School of Foreign Languages continues to organize such field activities to support students’ social, cultural, and professional development.
